Love this mix, sounds fat and clear. Also keeps the integrity of the OG deathmetal sound. Did you by chance sample the original good sounding kick and replace the shitty second kick with that sample? Disregard, just read your comments and se you sample replaced the kicks altogether. Good call…that second kick was straight ass to work with lol. Sounds really good for mixing a genre outside of your wheelhouse. I do find the double kicks to be a little distracting using so much of those raw drum sounds supplied. On the original recordings that left kick sounded like a wet bag of ass, whilst the right “main” kick sounded great. It was very hard to work with that. Overall very nice organic sounding mix. A little loud overall on the crashes, and then it get a little washy when they are riding the chashes about midway through the track. i think just bringing the cymbals down, specifically those crashes a touch and you are there. Otherwise very heavy, clear mix. Nice job overall.

Very clean sounding mix. I like it. Maybe the bass gets a little lost. Overall nice work though.
