    Love this mix, sounds fat and clear. Also keeps the integrity of the OG deathmetal sound. Did you by chance sample the original good sounding kick and replace the shitty second kick with that sample? Disregard, just read your comments and se you sample replaced the kicks altogether. Good call…that second kick was straight ass to work with lol. If you got a minute to spare check out my mix here, always looking for feedback.

    Not quite. I replaced the Alesis D4 kick sample included with the session files with my own kick sample, but I also left the acoustic kicks in as well. Just absolutely savaged the miked kick drums with post processing to try and get them to play nicely together.
