    Thanks! I confess I replaced the Alesis drum sample with one of my own custom kick sounds, something aimed at recreating the 90s Cannibal Corpse/Suffocation style kick tone.

    That’s 100% the snare as recorded. No additional samples or triggering, just some cleanup, compression, and a parallel trash track with a bit of ‘verb.
