Pretty damn good job! Sounds quite lively and it suits the style of music quite well :)
Only major nitpicking I have is that the guitars could be a bit more upfront imho.

Mix sounds stellar as well! Bassguitar sounds a bit prominent and little farty in the 200-400hz lowmid region.

Thank you very much! I did not reference Death but I do love that album musically and sonically :) The kick was a challenge indeed but I’m quite happy how it turned out in the end, best of luck!
Thanks Gregory! Appreciated :) it’s quite a dense song but I think pulling solo guitar riffs to the centre and then back towards the L/R is a simple but very effective way to grab your attention. There is a small amount of reverb on the drums but to enhance parts I added another long verb as a send :)

Thank you! Yeah the guitars were definitely scooped to begin with. I added a little bit of mid saturation with Saturn 2, but did not want to overdo it since it’s old school death metal after all :) Best of luck and happy new year!
