Hi everyone, little recap what I did on this mix.
On the drums I blended my personal samples of my drum
but not too much because I didn’t want to drown out the originally recorded drum.
On the bass guitar I used a Bogren Digital BassKnob STD, and all these recorded bass tracks – done differently,
On the rhythm guitar, I worked a lot on the EQ/Comp. to make the guitars jump forward and be clearer.
In my opinion, the vocals were recorded the best and they didn’t require such drastic moves.

Love the kick drum – I’m glad you didn’t get it from the original files as I was getting jealous ;-)
I would have enjoyed a nastier bass sound, but overall one of my fav mix so far.

Oh, you’re that guy who got the 2nd place on the Chelsea Mix Contest. Great to see you here. The mix here sounds very hi-fi, maybe a tad to brittle in the highs, but still has nice depth and feels quite full and really damn impactful. Great Job
