The intro is definitely a nice touch, the mix sounds really good with every element sounding clear and well defined. Drums are good and punchy. I do agree about it being too bass heavy. I’d probably try to attack that myself by putting a multiband compressor on the problematic region of bass frequencies, either on the bass tracks or even on the master, then messing with settings to see if that helps. Overall, pretty sweet though

in reply to: Dead To The World – End Of Ethos Mix #6038Thanks a lot for the feedback! And yeah I agree about the kick – if I’d programmed the drums in midi I would’ve messed with the velocity of the sample more, but I’m honestly not sure how to do that yet when triggering the samples from a real kick. First time I’ve triggered from real drums like this, I’m used to working with fully programmed drums. Thanks again
in reply to: Sebastian Duckstein – Dead To The World Mix #6032I did laugh at the intro, didn’t know what to expect haha. Digging the drum mix and guitar tones
in reply to: Daniel Castillo – Dead To The World Mix #6029Really good mix overall. I think I might’ve turned the drums down 1-2 dB on this one, or maybe just the kick. At some points it feels like the kick is overpowering the mix slightly.
