    I have a couple racks of outboard gear, Comps and EQP’s with a few different Mic Pres, but it’s only for recording at the moment. I’d like to get into mixing with it and possibly others i don’t own yet, but I can’t seem to figure out how to set it up so it goes out, through the gear and back in again. I might look at other options along those lines if I can get that figured out.

    I do like recording with the gear far better than a DI vocal. It gets the vocal sound 80% of the way there so you really only need to kiss it with FX ITB and that’s really only to get it to blend with the music.

    I mixed my version entirely ITB too.

    Unfortunately, there’s a glitch in the video at 2:15. It’s not in the original audio. Just the video, so I’m hoping the email submissions are what they’re going off of and not the video. :(
