Still listening to some versions. Hey Chestnut Mtn….great percussion. Sounds really nice. It creates a great vibe.
It’s amazing how a cajon can work so well in almost everything. Great!!!

(my link: thanks – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GWdOjRSmlo0)Some great ideas here. The 80’s vibe, how you did it, suits the song really nicely.
Great bass as well.

Well, keep going strong Stuart. It is loads of fun and you’ve done a fine job as well.
(my link: thanks – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GWdOjRSmlo0)How can you have just 3 posts with such a great remix. Just love it!!!! Lots of variation, vibe and quietness in one mix. Great!
(my link: thanks – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GWdOjRSmlo0)Those chords! Very clever. It sounded like some kind of gospel song….which created a great effect. Not easy to come up with that! I mean, to think out of the box like that. Ps Yeah, just hit the second chorus, I was right…… Gospel. Well done!!!
(my link: thanks – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GWdOjRSmlo0)in reply to: Lianne Kaye – Glow – Produced by M.Nicolaysen #16647What tha…. Why have you got only 1 post? You might like it or not but some great skills are shown here. Well done!
Funny when you look at the photo with 2 acoustic guitars hearing those heavy riffs. :-)
(my link: thanks – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GWdOjRSmlo0)Ah, that chorus! Good job!
(my link: thanks – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GWdOjRSmlo0)in reply to: Glow Remix – Nick Chassé #16645I am still listening to versions. Why, I don’t know. Just feel a part of it I guess. Your version starts really nice. And you are right, listening from beginning to end….there are some nice things coming along. Your mix is good! No worries. It is a production contest anyway. Nice drum fill with the voice in the second verse. Great! Ps great sounding toms!
(my link: thanks – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GWdOjRSmlo0)in reply to: Oston Matthews-Lianne Kaye – Glow Production #16644Sometimes in version of this song I hear a chord progression that I think: “Mmm that doesn’t sound right…TO MY EARS”. With all good intentions of my thoughts floating around while listening to different versions. It’s all about creativity, right? Coming across this one I have that feeling again but but but, you have managed to make it attractive to listen to and it puts my mind in a totally different spot. Some chords are so cleverly thought through. The changes in the voice……fantastic. And the vibe is well…… You know, it is just perfect!!!! Nicely done! Getting into the solo part…..very creative.
(my link: thanks – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GWdOjRSmlo0)in reply to: Lianne Kaye – Glow (No Compass Remix) #16643I was just checking a few songs and saw this one. Strange that I didn’t still leave a comment. :-)
Even though this might not what Lianne Kaye is all about, the skills of putting it together is beyond anything I have heard so far in this genre.
We all would like to know, right everybody, what guitars you used. Oh, and amps or amp sims for that matter. Oh, and drums and….. Great one!
(my link: thanks – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GWdOjRSmlo0)I am going to steal that kick….for sure. :-) Great grove. (at second thought, that 32beat instrument could have been a bit lower in volume) But all the rest is great.
