    I was given the Focal Clear MG Professional headphones for Christmas! (by request). Great headphones and ridiculously accurate from what I’ve been told, But of course they don’t match my Trio 6be speakers perfectly.. I guess I should trust the headphones more as my final say before releasing anything. My room is acoustically treated as much as this human could make it, but I think only outdoors could be a perfect environment to mix in? It took a year from start to finish. When the pandemic hit I went from being extremely busy to full stop! As we all sat around wondering what to do (besides nothing), I couldn’t stand it any longer and decided to build a studio in my house with all the advice I could find. Home depot delivers! Amazon Delivers! UPS delivers! Fed EX.. etc. So “Stir Crazy Studio” was born. LOL most apropriate name I could come up with.

    I’ve had a long history starting with Jazz in high school, then paying to play in bands, then running live sound. So I thought I’d give recording and song writing “another” shot.

    Your right about glitches and some mistakes being second to Feel and overall performance. I’ve made some mistakes and on playback its like, wow that is cool! But good luck doing it again?

    Thank you for the listen and review! When this competition started I had just received a few new studio items including main monitors. Extra challenging! Would love a DW drumset but I need a tiny bit bigger studio. So Kontakt for drums, Modo Bass, (keyboard controller for midi trigger on both) reamped clean signals for guitars.

    On the last couple days Modo Bass kept “not outputting” sound from midi.. thought I was doomed but kept restarting and it sorted out.

    Thank you for commenting about being a little light on the low end. My new main monitors are Focal Solo 6be with 2 10″ subs and room correction software. I had 8″ KRK 3rd Gen speakers which weren’t real accurate.. So I was 2nd guessing everything I was hearing with the Focals! Truly great speakers to track/mix with! I can hear details that were hidden before.

    I tried to stay true to Lianne’s song structure and emotion. Loved working on this!

    I think I had a couple hours left on June 2nd when I submitted. Lol, Modo Bass glitched out on one note but no time to fix!
