“…and now for something completely different…”
Many, many thanx to the incredible Mr. Tim Stelzer for playing the bass on this song.
Unfortunately my favourite session-guitar-player could not participate due to a inflammation of the middle ear… Dear Marc Müller, get well soon!
Enjoy, have fun, good luck to y’all. 🎼 🎹 🥁 🎸 🎤 🎧 🍻This has such a funky vibe to it! good luck! and hope your guitarist has a speedy recovery.
Thanks for listening, @gonzodriver.
And yes, we hope so, too!That’s a very original idea. At times, it reminds me of the band Incubus combined with organ sounds reminiscent of Bob Marley.
It sounds good !Awesome job. Very unique. I was bobbing my head the whole time :)
Here are some serious funky tones at work. You did a great job in this. Creative and musical.
It caught me right wegen the Hammond sneaks into the song
Cheers and good luck
🎸🍻👍🏻
😊 Mission accomplished! Thank you @fretcruiser!
@widerangeechoes Thanks for listening!
Yes, nobody can escape the spin of a Leslie! 🎹
That’s my secret weapon.Thanks for the feedback, Jens! 😊😊
Your production has a really nice gluey vibe. Very smooth, yet super funky. Being a drummer I like all of the ghost notes on the snare. (not sure if it’s programmed, or loops pulled into your session)? I like it either way.
All the best! 😊😊No, it’s programmed. I couldn’t have played that stuff by myself! If you want funk, rely on https://www.toontrack.com/product/funkmasters-ezx/ 🥁
Still it only works well, if your bass-player can catch the groove!Thanks for checking out the details, @markpullin! 🎧
