    about these drums:
    – some careful gating and eq on the raw tracks
    – samples used are from Jacob Hansen (tama bell brass snare, toms) and Bogren Digital (Krimh main kick #3)
    – hardware aphex dominator to brighten the transients
    – c4 on the drum buss for control

    oh and years of mixing of course…

    Oh thank you. Great job with your own mix btw, you managed to keep it aggressive but also ear friendly which is kind of not easy given how piercing some of the source tones are.
