The outboard was not “necessary” for the sound but it made it easier to achieve what i was aiming for. Could have all done ITB but with some more effort. So it’s not the outboard “black magic” but it sure helped. :D
The DAW is Ardour. That’s the open-source engine that Harrison Consoles build their “Harrison Mixbus” on.

As we do this mostly for learning i thought sharing some thoughts of the process a good idea. Some dudes even made a whole mix rundown. If i win i’ll do this … deal? :D
