Thanks, G-Doggy. I really appreciate the feedback. Did you submit an entry? I’d love to hear it!
Haha, oh yeh, so I did. I find this forum interface difficult to keep track, lol.
Hey Smart, Thanks for the kind feedback. I’m intrigued to hear your version, what’s the link? It’s lost in the pile.
Hi SGP, you’re very kind, thank you for the kind words! What’s your link, I’d love to hear it! A punk rock version sounds badass!
Hi Mark,
Thank you so much for the wonderful feedback! Yeh, this track needed minimal playing on the drums whilst stepping it up through the gears dynamically and energetically as it progresses. And who doesn’t LOVE a 16th not triplet fill round the houses! Yeh!!!What’s the link to your post, I think it’s been buried in the pile?
Hi Artur, thanks for the comment. I’ve commented on yours. Did you play ALL those instruments?
Love the piano sound. And great to hear violin on this track! Well done.
Thanks, Sloat. That’s both a mellow and meaty version at the same time! Love the bass sound! Well done!
Thanks, Kalvis. I appreciate the feedback. I think the YouTube issue was it hand;t rendered in HD when I heard it back. It seems to have resolved itself. I’ve never noticed the audio degradation to that extent before, but usually, I schedule my videos hours in advanced so they have time to render in HD behind the scenes, Glad that got sorted, lol!
Thanks, Beach Studios/South. Yeh, it leans itself to that country vibe I feel! I’ve listened and commented on yours, nice man! Some tasty guitar playing!
in reply to: South Shiloh – Glow Production/Remix #15969Nice mellow country approach rendition! Is that a Baritone guitar in there? Like we went for the same drum hits at the end of the choruses.
Thanks, Labxmusic! Appreciate the comment :-)
That tom sound!
Great rendition!
I’d love your feedback on my full-band country rendition: https://ratemymix.com/topic/ed-thorne-full-band-production-lianne-kaye-glow-lady-a-meets-tim-mcgraw/#post-15346
Awesome! Thank you. That’s a Sandberg or Fender Jazz (I can’t remember) through a Neve 1073lb!
Amazing feedback, thank you!
