I like the club mix style but the vocals are a little buried.

Yeah, it seems to have really popped out when I mastered it. I’m no mastering engineer so I just gave it my best shot. I think the extra compression and limiting really made the bass jump up. Maybe I should have adjusted with some EQ accordingly. As a previous comment mentioned, I think the unmastered version has a better balance.
I appreciate that. I did wonder about the bass but it seemed to translate well over to my “car test”. I’ll keep an ear on that for future mixes. Cheers.
