    Nice mix, similar placement like mine and way less of that piercing high end than the reference ( esp. steel guit)

    It is quit flat in my opinion. It could have popped out a bit more in the chorus. Not enough low end. But hey….that is just taste. The balance of your mix is great though. A bit more 300hz in the snare would have come a long way. But who am I to be nasty……great mix! Good luck!

    Of course tastes are different, thanks for your honest comment.

    I just listened to your mix, in my opinion the vocals are thin and in medium-high, are not enough prominent in relation to the band and in my opinion the snare are too prominent and are wasted.

    This is my take on the first listen. Each mix has something special in this Chontest, so yours has its own place and character that is unique… good job and good luck!
