    first of all, thank you very much for having a listen… not sure how far you got because it is a bit long

    I posted a comment on the Kristian Kohle video mentioning doing a 20 minute long ambient mix, and he replied “do it” so, I felt I had to come up with the goods haha

    you’re right about the build up of noise and I had a lot of trouble with that on this one

    I did stretch two tracks, the bass and the vocals (which I bussed together) but I used REAPER’s own hyper stretch algorithm… still much to learn about that

    Man this is great! I’m not terribly familiar with the genre – closest thing I’ve heard was Oneotrix Point Never and a few ambient techno albums – but to my inexperienced ear this is was a very enjoyable listen. Got lost in the soundscape, good luck mate!

    Gotta love Pigments, the EFx Granular Synth is great too. I have other synths, but I’m going to make the jump to Pigments sometime this year, Rock/Metal/Trance

    yeah, Pigments is kind of awesome and I have had it for a while

    like you, I have other synths, of course, but the granular and harmonic stuff is a big differentiator
