    OK, let’s see if I’ve got this straight:
    1) The song was written by Lianne, so it would make sense that she would be the final arbiter of whose production/mix is best for her taste.
    2) I can’t believe that there’s a huge panel of judges sifting through the entries as that would introduce a significant subjective bias and negate the ethos of point 1. Maybe Lianne has some extra ears to help her out, but she would have to try to accurately communicate what it is she’s looking for.
    3) I seem to remember Warren saying to Lianne at the end of the original competition video that she was likely to have a LOT of mixes to listen to. This would suggest that she will at least ‘dip into’ each track to get a taste of style/production/mix quality.
    4) There are clearly many hundreds of entries, but I think this number could be whittled down fairly quickly – a bad mix will soon be apparent, as would poor production, probably in less than a minute. I’ve only listened to a small fraction of the entries, but heard quite a few where the new instrumentation was in the wrong key centre and just didn’t fit the vocal melody. These erroneous efforts could be discarded in short order.
    5) That said, I’m sure Lianne has a life (!) so it will take her some time to weed out the competent entries and come up with a short-list, so I’m not at all surprised we don’t have a result yet. However, if memory serves, early July was mentioned at some point as being the likely date for release of the results, so I have to agree with Martin Audio that some kind of announcement of a delay would have been welcome. Not rocket science, but then I have no idea how busy Warren and his team, and Lianne and hers, are.
    6) Finally (yes, I know), I also agree with Martin that any release cannot correspond with the winners announcement. Many legal niceties to be dealt with first – if the winning track(s) were released without the creators knowledge or consent that would be, er, problematic to put it mildly.

    How are,you doing?😊 Thanks for the reply. I hope you are doing very well Andi wish you good luck with your submission. Yes man. All good. There is no war at all. In the video I am 99% sure it was said the winners will be announce on the 3rd of July but I might be wrong. All I want to know when it will be announced. I am not rushing them or so. It’s all good. But I want an update which is why I and,many other people emailed them. It’s okay if they say sorry man we’ll do it within a week. No rush. But I am just so curious because competition is very fierce. There are many great submissions and I am so curious to know what Lianna likes. We don’t know it. And this competition was announced more than 2 months ago and after one week people started submitting contents so,they could,start listening to it but as I can,see they keep uploading new videos every 3 days I guesswork it makes,me assume producing videos for YouTube don’t let them focus on the competition. But I don’t really know what’s behind this delay and,all the delays with the competitions always so I don’t judge them. We’ll know when we’ll know.

    Yes, there are many submissions and as I know they have about 10 judges there always but I might be wrong. Surely they are very busy. In short what I would like to know is when they will announce the winner. If it is two month later it’s fine no matter when but so I don’t wait for it every day. I am not rushing them just wish to know when. It’s all good. I think the best will to forget snout this competition and one, day we’ll see the announcement email Hahaha😃

    Yes, my friend I hear you. This is what I am also telling. All I want is an update. I am not rushing them or something I just ant them to give us a heads up and,tell when it will be announced. It costs an email and 2 minutes to do for them. If it is going to happen 2 month later fine just let us know. Everyone is excited. They could communicate with us if they want to…

    Good evening, everybody.

    Just a couple of friendly thoughts:

    – it’s nice that everyone has read the rules carefully, however, it’s worth keeping in mind that Warren, Lianne and others in the organization work, have careers to pursue, and the dates of a free, open contest (but with real, tangible prizes) may not be at the top of the priority list.

    – sure, it would be nice to have quick and efficient communication, and I’m sure that is the case when it comes to the paid courses and workshops offered by the academy. I personally do not know any of you gentlemen, but I am sure at least 3/4 of us have jobs and careers. Are you really waiting for the result of a free contest as if your life depended on the outcome?

    – I have also noticed that many entries have been posted well past the deadline, blatantly ignoring the very rules that some of you are so vehemently challenging. Will you also be so fiscal when a late entry is awarded instead of your own? Or will you send letters of protest to the newspapers?

    Take it lightly, folks… it’s free, there’s just so much to learn from each other, we should all just be thankful for the opportunity.

    In conclusion, give my song one last listen!

    I think we all have to be patient. Of course everybody wants to know who wins the competition… and yes: I also think, that submissions after the deadline shouldn’t be rated by the jury – and I‘m quite sure they won’t. But if they do… like Sinatra sang: „That’s life“.
    I watched the announcement video again, and I haven’t heard anything about the third of July.
    Yes, it would be nice to know, when the winners will be announced… but who knows: maybe it will be soon.
    Didn’t Warren say in one of his latest videos that he‘s flying to Europe? Maybe he meets Lyane.
    Maybe not and we all have to wait another few months, and I am sure the world keeps turning :-)

    We understand what you say but this is completely the wrong approach. All we want is the organisers to communicate with the participants and tell us when it will be announced. Once they told us it will be announced on the 3rd of July and since they know they didn’t do it it would be great if they could send us an email with a new date. That’s all. They don’t talk to us at all. Also submissions after deadline are not included in the conteSt. And that they decided to put this contest up for free was there decision just like the announcement date which was said in the video. It was not decided by us. They were the one who arranged it this way and so it is not reason for not letting us know about new date. Let me ask you please, wouldn’t you update your participants if you have a delay? It’s not even about getting to know the winner but the just let us know what’s going on. It’s a human thing and the right attitude .

    We are patient. We are not pushing them. We just want to know when it will really be announced. I am sure the date was told somewhere before but I,don’t know where. I am going to look for it. Yes you are correct. The submissions after deadline are not considered. Regarding Warren’s trip to Europe I think he has a week long studio tour/course in France where people could join him this summer. Maybe this is the one where he goes. Anyway we better forget about this conteSt so we’ll have a good surprise when they finally announce what Lianne choose.😃 I am not impatient tho but I want the organisers to talk to us. It takes 2 minutes to send a group email with a new date. But even if they don’t do it’s fine. Peace and love.

    I know what you mean… and I also think it would be nice to get a rough time horizon or a little update.
    I really don’t think they announced a date when the contest started – only the deadline for the submission. So I think forgetting and being surprised may be the best solution for us ;-)

    There was a post on Produce Like A Pro’s Instagram around mid June where they screenshotted a mail by Lianne confirming she has now listened to all the tracks. But I cannot find it anymore, maybe it was posted in their story. So I guess we just need to be a bit more patient. Although a little status update would be nice of course. :-)
