At the start I was expecting a Dire Straits vibe… but then we get a mix of Ramones-like chuggin’ & metal breaks…. an’ I do like a ‘crump’ note-end in a track.
‘Pop’, yes… but with some ‘modern-ska’ feel to the brass ‘stabs’, as well.
A fresh take that’s quite ‘street’, with a bright & in-yer-face delivery.
Weighty & solid foundation, with a lean to some lushness via the strings.
Cosy & cuddlesome… some tinkling touches away from the centre add to the vibe.
Sensitive and glossy mix, with an undercurrent of lush strings & acoustic guitar.
Tight & together (or, to keep with the space theme ‘Titan’ together..?)… balances the essentials well.
Clear and concise arrangement, with an air of vast surroundings.
Smooth-flowing, spacious and well-balanced.
