just listened to your track and I agree with you, mine and yours has a common “vibe”, so what else can I say? I like it ;)
Your mix sounds way much wider than mine, that leads me to re-thinking my tracks and fx stereo placement next time, but if I can say i felt as if sometimes some masking/phase issues appears in your track pushing the bass track a bit behind in the mix along with the snare, on the other hand seems maybe reverbs are competing with other elements making them a little vealed…please don’t take me as an oracle, as I said to you before, I’m just a passionate guy trying to learn and grow through comparison with other mixers here, so if i’m somewhere wrong please forgive me :)))
In the end overall sound makes the song shine so for me it’s a well done job and I enjoyed listening to it, so keep on mixing and once again good luck for the contest,

I’m so glad you liked It, I had some suggestions and critiques from other mixers here and those are the kind of things makes me want to learn, improve and grow, and i’m gratefull for that.

I just heard your work and now I understand what you mean about my kick, I’ll keep that in mind for the next mix, maybe it will be more sharp ;)
If I can tell i would say your mix is energetic, and that’s the kind of sound I like, maybe the bass is a little far behind and sometimes reverbs on lead vocals are too present…but that’s just a matter of taste ;)
BTW it sounds good and serve the song, good job mate, good luck for the competition and once again thank you for stopping by.

Btw I intentionally left the kick a bit “behind” accordingly to the genre, but I surely will consider to give it more “weight”, on the other hand I thought my snare was a bit “too much” for it, but that’s why I love to have feedback, other’s people ears feel different than mine so I will take care in the next mix.
