Well, I hardly ever be negative and even now, I want to remain positive out of respect but…..
I think there is too much saturation on the voice. His voice isn’t meant to sound like that I think.
But you make it up for putting in a great great solo. When you played that “slide” in the beginning of the solo I thought: “yes, he nows how to touch
someones nerves in a positive way§”. Well done!

A bit too much 1000hz to 2000hz in my opinion. Besides that……great mix. Could have a bit more 300 hz in the snare though. Good luck. (It all about taste, don’t forget. Hey……the solo could have been louder). Well, listening while writing, enjoyable to listen to!

This is a good mix. I agree with ericw talking about the snare. But the balance is good. I just love that everybody is trying to be kind to each other. So, here is my compliment, I think this a great mix with different choices from the ones I made. I think that having the slide guitar at that loud volume…..takes courage. (it is really low in my mix)

Sounds nice. The kick is a bit boomy but that is merely taste. Even though the hammond is loud, the voice comes out perfectly. That shows great skill.

We hear a lot of mixed that sound the same so it makes it difficult to judge. But it is the little things that make the difference. And you nailed it.

Great mix. As long as you said “Giving it a go” I am sure that sharing an idea is well appreciated. In your next mix, let it be for a few days, if you did not do this with this mix, then put a final eq on your master bus to make some final decisions. I would have loved to here a bit more top end. Also because the balance of your mix is really really great!!!!!!
