Hi Pier, Miguel here. My only comment is the vocals sound a little veiled. I think it’s probably a delay/reverb you used in the vocal which could sound good in other genres. I don’t really listen much to americana so i had to listen to a lot of other songs first and it looks to me they like their vocals loud and uprfront. Apart from that it sounds good dude!
Best one I heard yet. Backing vocals are a little muffled for my taste but otherwise it’s a solid mix!
So apparently we’re all going up against a Barresi! Cool mix man. Those toms are monstrous! I struggled with those!
I actually don’t think the kick is too loud. I like the way the kick and snare interplay to support he groove. I think the overall mix is a little dark tho which is probably why the kick seems loud. Cheers!
Yeah man. I uploaded mine to youtube seeing someone a few days ago have the same problem.
Good job getting that kick uniform man! Interesting choice using a phaser/flanger on the guitars!
