Start cutting low mids, it kills dynamics and depth
There is some honk in the guitars. In general, I’d clean up low mids little more. Cheers
Thanks, guitars definitely need more control.
Drums slam way too hard, especially in the beginning. Backing vocals need to be thinner while on the sides, cut some low mids and highpass. Cheers
Sorry, but there is no mistake. It’s almost reversed smiley curve. The mids are muddy/honky. Try listning on different monitoring system with the fresh ears. It helps removing any bias. GL

In both mixes there is ton of mud in the low mids. Seems like you are focusing on highs while eq’ing, but neglecting low mids. This mud kills dynamics. Cheers
