Listening again :-) I think it sounds great eq vise over all, not lacking any frequences to my ear. Over all compression nice too. I do think the cymbals sounds a little bit to harsh here and there. I think its just that the Mp3 compression is audible? Im not sure what causing that? Maybe trying out different Mp3 converters.
Hi John!
Supergreat production indeed! Nothing not to like here for sure. It would be great to have Lianne redo her vocals on this. Its that question of tuning vocals or not. I dont know whats right but when listening to this thats the only thing I would perfect on this, an even more fitting performance and a little bit more in tune. But setting the technical aside you made a production thats complement Liannes passion in her performance for sure!
Great work!

in reply to: Chop’n’Glow Remix by Jules #13714Wow that hit me hard haha! Great intro and what a bunch of great ideas! Fun to listen to and I really really like the energy here. When hearing the whole song its just some missparts harmony vise here and there, that dont works for my ears. Especially “second” part of choruses. But that said I rally enjoying listening to your remix! Great job!

Hi Ville!
Nice and fun production! Great playing and choosing of instrumentation. I like the heavy sounding choruses a lot, thinks they fit really well. Strings are great all the way thrue but really nice when playing the same note as Lianne sings. Sounds great. On the downside its just the sound quality I think. It lacking of this kind of arrangement that deserves better. It would be nice to hear in better quality.
Keep up the good works!
