To get the vocals in the right balance, it’s best to listen to them as if you were hearing the song for the first time.
Not assuming that everyone already knows.
Chuck Norris is able to listen to all the works submitted to the competition at the same time
and announce the winners after 3 minutes !

I agree with the idea that there should be two rating categories.
For Mix and Remix. Similar to other competitions.
If I like the source material of a song,
I personally prefer to remix it.
Because more creativity is possible there.

If you hadn’t heard the original song,
then this could absolutely be accepted as an original song
However, the rules state that you cannot post multiple times
