I used SUblab, one of my favourites (and a bit of Radiator by Soundtoys in parallel)

If you dig it here how I kinda made it!



I basically muted everything but the vocals and played guitars around to look for different riffs/melodies (relying on two keys). Then I rearranged a bit all the vocal parts (also fit the tempo, stretch etc), added several 808 patterns and built the drums around the original kick drum (which I didn’t replace tho). So most of the drums and fxs are samples. I eventually recorded a few vocal takes (like high screams), doubled the guitars (Gojira DSP and Diesel Herbert plugins) and added a bass guitar (mostly slap) that follows the same notes :)


Mixing was a lot of compression and saturation ahah
