I wanted to preserve everything that the initial tracks provided and mix it down. And that’s what I did. Surely sounds darker and less excited in the highs than in comparison to other mixes on here. Ironically, I boosted quite a bit here and there (in the highs).
Yes, I did listen to mine (obviously) and I tried to give it the balance it deserves. I personally don’t find your track that balanced and I’ve actually just relistened to it. Didn’t change my mind whatsoever. I’m sorry if you are hurt or offended by it but that’s just my opinion.

Wow, the highs sound really overexcited and washy, makes the mix sound quite unfocused. Otherwise the drums have body and it seems very present in place (which is a good thing) abut the highs (like on the snare and the vocals) are really much
Sounds a bit hard and janky, get’s fatigueing quite easily. You surely have a lot of mids in it
Maybe too many highs and too scooped, the drums seem very attack-ey and not having body or depth (especially Snare and Toms), kick get’s lost here and there and the whole mix has a laptop speaker kind of vibe

The video audio is recorded in the room, right? Otherwise, it sounds really janky. The vocals and drums being upfront (as in snare and kick), yet the shells seem far away (aswell as bass and guitars) and the whole mix sounds kinda muffled in places

It could have been so good but it sounds really muddy overall, like having a Low Pass Filter on top of it
