It would be so much better if he did sing to this tempo. thats the one thing that I didn’t like. I can kinda hear the stretching artifacts from slowing it down but holding the pitch.

Thanks! I deliberately didn’t use any samples as to keep it classic in sound. I liked the way the snare sounded when I brought out the ring and smack. Reminds me of a lot of late 90s metal snare sounds. Like Deftones or Glasjaw. I hear it on a lot of Ross Robinson projects from back then. Very “hardcore” influenced.
