I kept finding that the 1st small rack tom was greatly changing in sound from hit to hit, so I ended up using some multi band compression (fabfilter pro-mb) to reign some of it in.
Thanks! I tend to use “Bass Professor II” on bass alot. Not bad for a free plugin. There’s also a tse bod in there.
