Hi! There is some truth in the amount of reverberation, but I just apparently had such a moment that I decided to walk along the edge of using it, which is unusual for this genre. It’s not that there’s a problem with the bass, here I may have missed one or two decibels in automation at some point. But the most interesting thing is that everything in the wav file is readable and it’s understandable why. At first I wanted to follow the attached reference, but I didn’t use it, only compared it at the end. To be honest, I don’t like the way I made guitars right now, I would redo a lot of them. I don’t like the timbre of the snare drum in my mix right now. I would redo the automation of the slide guitar, in places it really sticks out when there are vocals. In general, I am critical of what I do.

I think you’re right that the song turned out to be a little dark in tone, I’ve probably been listening to the Gotthard group lately, they have a couple of light albums, but with a similar tonal balance and color. although I’m not a fan and listen to a lot of stuff, that may have influenced this mix. so your truth)
