Thanks for taking the time to listen… I’m glad you appreciated my arrangement… it was an interesting exercise to place new chords around the existing vocal melody; definitely wanted to inject some drama & tension into my version!
I’ll admit, the production took a fair few days & by the end I couldn’t justify obsessing over the mix, due to other commitments; I agree, it’s a little harsh; also didn’t take into account the added compression via soundcloud!

Thanks so much for the feedback, really appreciate it! Getting the song to flow in a way that made sense to me was definitely a priority. I really felt like the track needed to breakdown before the final chorus for maximum impact, and that really cool extended note should be saved for then too; glad you appreciated the changes! Exercising restraint when it comes to layering instruments has never been my forte, haha, I’ll take that on board. Cheers :)
