I think this definitely wins the wildest guitar solo category! Very powerful ending, good job!

Sounds pretty much perfect, has a bit of an 80ies vibe to me, yet not dated. Excellent work!

That was fun! Obviously the heavy chorus and the solo stand out, but I also really like the piano parts you added.

Thanks for checking out my mix, glad you enjoyed it! Guitars have no stereo widening, just a bunch of eq and saturation. Guitar/vocal balance was another struggle, the previous version had vocals more upfront. But to me, that jus did not suit the track. So I decided to go for a more ‘buried’ vocal sound, but I might have overdone it. Drums, don’t even get me started…;)

Thanks for the feedback! I can see your point regarding bass tone. I was struggling to find the balance between too clean and too dirty, in the end, I liked the dirtier version better and thought I should just go with.

This sounds very good! Perhaps too good? I guess this is all a matter of taste, but I could see why someone might say that sounds too modern and that it lacks the raw feel of the original. Anyways, I think you did what a lot of us intended to do, so hats off to you! Quite curious about the details regarding guitars, if they weren’t posted here already. I intended to go in a similar direction and did quite a few things, but I never got close to what you got.
