The mix is very powerful, but also, interesting. A lot of work was put into automation and it PAYS!
If I was to criticize, I’d mention two things:
1. Lead vocal comes in a bit too soft, I feel.
2. Kick-drum is being masked by bass.
All in all – great work.

I really like the background layer underneath the guitar solo, gives it both flow and depth.

Solid work. To my ears, the snare has a bit too much 8k from the bottom mic (I presume). Bass drum sounds a bit subdued, but yours is one of the best mixes, I’ve heard so far.

Very solid mix, among the best, I listened to. Huge drums, but balanced well against guitars and vocals.
Drums sound great and not overpowering – vocal is always in the spotlight.

And after hearing the song for dozens if not hundreds of times, it’s like a breath of fresh air.
Everything sounds very natural to me (except for, possibly, “…and I don’t need another” refrain at the end), which is a huge achievement in itself! I think your version is great, both musically and production-wise. It’s been said already, but bears repeating: you did an outstanding job with the pedal-steel.
I only wish, you would insert a short pause after “…cause in reality” around 1’30” mark; I feel, it would sound better flow-wise.
