who are your best mixers that you’d think will win?

Guessing is a thankless task, I think we won’t guess and we’re tired of waiting too)

Can someone point me to where they said the winners are to be announced this week?

No idea who it’ll be. Thousands of entries! I thought mine was “okay” ish, but there are so many awesome mixers out there, and there’s no way to really determine what the judges will take a liking to. Best of luck to everyone out there, though!
In my opinion, everyone who takes part is a winner (honestly not an empty platitude). Even if you didn’t end up winning anything in the contest, you’re engaging with a whole community and learning from one another, and that’s worth a LOT in my book. We all start at the beginning of a massive learning curve with mixing/production, and we’re all here to offer advice to each other along the way. Some are more progressed along the way, some less progressed, but that doesn’t matter. We all start at the beginning, and if we strive to do our best every single day, we eventually get to where we want. We can then look back and offer a helping hand to those who are still on the learning curve.
Suffice it to say, I’m happy to be a part of this big community. You’re all family to me.
Does anyone have news if the result is about to come? Unfortunately, this year they didn’t give a specific date, as it always got delayed, but an estimate would be nice to not leave us anxious.
They say they’ll be shooting the announcement video this week,so I think they’ll announce till the end of this month.
