    Here is my entry to the mix competition! I tried to stay fairly true to the source material by not using sample replacement, time alignment, etc.

    Love the samples you added!! Very late 90s thing to do haha. Your low end sounds huge on my system, almost too much so. The bass tone is fantastic, but I am missing some grind from the guitars. Also sounds to me like there’s just a touch too much reverb on the main vocal. The drowned high screams sound great with all the reverb though!

    Thanks so much for taking a listen. You’re probably right on all counts. I am mixing on headphones, unfortunately, so I may have a tendency to over compensate in certain areas. I thought it sounded pretty decent in my car. LOL Cheers, man!
