Hi Red, sounds quite good. The electric guitars sound bit too bright and breaked up for my taste. I think your mix would sound better if it was a little warmer overall.

You know, I thought about going darker.
During mastering, I referenced a number of my favorite mixes in modern heavy genres – stuff from Will Putney, Dan Lancaster, and Carl Bown – and a lot of their stuff is even brighter than this. Did you reference this against anything as a comparison? If so, what song? I’m always super curious about everyone’s favorite songs/mixes.
I appreciate the feedback. I’ll give it another listen with less of a bright tonal shape and see if I agree with ya’!
