    Those drums sound awesome! Especially that bass drum. Sounds like a machine gun when he kicks into the double bass pattern. Really nice mix.

    The low end was a hard work 🥵 I’ve reamped the bass DI. And I’ve layered the kick tracks with 3 kick samples. Then I’ve added drops and explode samples at the beginning of each part. And sub frequencies are controlled by a dynamic EQ and tube saturation on the master track (Vertigo VSM-3, Whitestone P331 EVL)

    The balance wasn’t easy as the guitar sound is very outdated 😓 But I think that it was a hard work for everybody!

    I’ve layered many drum samples (3 kick tracks, 4 snare tracks, 2 explosion sounds, 1 drop, and 1 reverse snare). I’ve added a large room sound too. And I’ve mixed with tape emulation and parallel bus processing for kick and snare.
    Moreover, bass and guitar tracks are compressed with the kick and snare sound in sidechain in order to accentuate the impact of the drums. But first of all, I’ve tried not to distort the original purpose and bring out the sound of the original drum tracks.
