    I am new here and thought I’d give this a go!

    This is my first time working with real drums and thought I’d not do too much. I added a different kick and supported the snare with a sample to give it a little more body.
    For bass I used the Bogren plugin and loved the way it sounded right out of the gate.
    The guitars saw a bit of multiband compression and eq to lift them slightly.
    The vocals sounded absolutely awesome as they were so all I did was add compression, eq, delay and a little reverb as well as a doubler effect on any lines that were stacked.

    What was really important for me whilst mixing this was to create a clear separation of all elements, especially since this was such a raw recording.

    Hi Sebastian, wow I like this very much! This is actually the first mix I really like and I can tell you I tried at least 10 of them! Wonderful drum sound and overall very balanced.

    I’ve also panned the guitars hard left and right, but I doubled it when there were this “solo” parts of left one and made it center, to be more focused.

    Anyway, this is fantastic work, good luck in competition!

    I feel like this mix is very “glued” together. The most similar to my attempt that I’ve come across so far and I like it! Nice work.
