    Hey, y’all!

    So, I actually listened to this song before I knew any of its history and I originally mixed it to be very 90’s death metal. Upon learning that it actually IS 90s metal, I decided that I was going to modernize it a bit.

    Snare is reinforced with my band’s drummer’s brass snare. Toms are replaced. Added some sub drops.

    Overall, I tried to mix this super aggressive without being too harsh.

    The mix sounds fantastic! The only thing I was struggling with was hearing the main vocal. It could be a touch louder for my taste. Great job on the snare reinforcement. Really cuts through nicely. Good luck, man!

    Thanks! I personally prefer vocals that sit IN a mix, rather than on top of it, but I can see what you’re saying. Maybe could have come up just a touch.

    Nice job on the snare, and overall.
    I feel that around 1:25 there is a miss on the low end, but anyway good mix!
    The voice is ok up to me.
