    Hi !

    Here is my entry for the Malamor contest. I had a lot of fun doing it. It was a bit challenging for me as an amateur but I tried my best to make it sound like OSDM song from this era, whithout using any samples.

    @Evil Nick : i love how you mix still retains the tones of the original (no extra drum samples, etc), while also still being very modern and refined, especially on the drums processing. Sounds very clear, snappy, punchy, etc.
    Mine is way rawer :)

    Salut, c’est @djabthrash qui m’envoi depuis TSE :-P

    Putain la violence de ta snare, elle explose tout, tout en restant bien bien mat ! Bravo, le mix est massif avec un gros bas qui écrase bien. A la limite tu aurais pu baisser un poil la snare pour rehausser tout le reste, mais c’est une question de goût

    Merci pour le commentaire. J’ai trouvé que beaucoup de mixs étaient agressifs et manquaient de bas. Et pour le coup je trouve que c’est très important dans le style. Du coup j’ai travaillé ça au mieux. Par contre le snare est clairement trop en avant, bien d’accord avec toi. Je n’ai pas réussi à la rentrer dans le mix comme je voulais. Après c’est assez courant dans le Death (plus le Brutal que le Old-school par contre).

    The mix is a bit thin for me but you got some very snappy drums and great clarity. Overall a nice job well done.
