Just a wonderfully produced, arranged, recorded and performed song I never get tired of listening to.
Thanks for the opportunity to mix these tracks and thanks to all the folks who have made this available to the mixing community.-

The decision to put the electric guitars more upfront really gave an interesting twist to this one, I do think you went just a bit to deep with the deeser on the esses but very nice mix overall.
I like the clarity despite lots of guitar and the vocal is always upfront, very nice!
Sounding good! Nice mix, well balanced, although guitar/drum forward. I do lose the keys & acoustic, but that’s
a creative choice. Very well done! Oh, and nice blend of backing vocals.
Best of luck! Please give me a listen:
Interesting mix ballance and i like when backing vox are loud :)
Guilty!
Thanks for the listen and input. Thanks for the listen and the input.
Agreed. I did make a creative decision on the impact of the acoustic and the piano and did underplay them in deference to other more melodic content where I though appropriate. Thanks for the listen and comment
What is your controller?
Is a good different view. Interesting choice for guitar.
Good Luck-

#smallstationstudio Thanks for the listen and comment.
I enjoyed the power of the guitars and used that to build the power of the message through the song.Notes on my approach:
I found the array of guitars to be the most challenging and most rewarding aspects of my interpretation of this song. The arrangement is a wonderfully crafted series of hooks and turn-arounds using almost every instrument to express them. The song has a definite flow from intro, to middle and end but there are subtle climaxes within the arrangement I tried to be sensitive too as well. I found the two main guitars (here panned left and right and using all mics for both) added both a bed and accents when treated with the dynamics to support the song’s message. The guitar figures in the verse coming out of the break had the right power and hook to drive the song to its final climax. -
