    I.D.I.Q., Good job – the horns(?) especially got across the sadness and confusion conveyed by the original by Yungblud. There seemed to be a bit of dissonance
    around 47 sec in the chords – (perhaps meant to be?). john

    Thanks John. I was going for a sort of brass band kind of sound. I’m really glad that you thought the horns conveyed the emotions within the lyrics. In terms of the dissonance, when writing I keep playing until I find something that feels right for the song. That said, I can’t rule out that there was a mistake that I just got used to, over the hundreds of repeated plays involved in these projects :) That’s why it’s so useful to get feedback like this to get another pair of ears listening to it.
