    Great virtuosity! Sounds a little bit like Dream Theater?! Only the kick-drum could have slightly more punch in the low-end (just my 2 cents)…

    Thank you for the kind comment. DT are a great influence. \m/ Regarding the kick-drum, it’s something I need to keep working on. Typically, any producer these days would have applied a trigger to the kick and used a sample but I wanted to keep this as stripped down and authentic as possible. What you hear is the real kick from a real acoustic kit performed by a real drummer (a friend of mine who tracked this for me – that was his second take!). =)
