Thanks! Yes, it’s pretty fun to hear all the different solutions people have come up with :)DiiillParticipantJune 4, 2023 at 7:43 pmPost count: 17
Man, I really like when people change the chord progression in an unpredictable way. It’s crazy how compositions and arrangements represent so much about people’s perspective of the world. Well done!
If you can, I would appreciate production/mix feedbacks on my version: https://ratemymix.com/topic/lianne-kaye-glow-produced-by-dill-pereira/Øystein WikaParticipantJune 4, 2023 at 9:08 pmPost count: 8
Hi, Dill! Thanks for the feedback. Yes, the arrangement can really change the whole perspective of a song. I always try to uncover chord progressions that enforce the intended “message” in some way. Often songwriters can be limited by the chords or chord patterns they are familiar with, and at the same time, write melodic concepts that “need” a more complex chord treatment.
I will listen to your version as soon as I get back into the studio tomorrow :)

Hi Wika, nice guitars here, especially at the beginning and the solo. And an interesting chord progression which gives the song a different character. Congratulations!Øystein WikaParticipantJune 5, 2023 at 8:10 amPost count: 8

A very creative new production, your chord progression works really good! Also mixed well balanced and played skilfully. I like it.
Good luck to you. 🎼 🎸 🎧
