Jona L. Klein – Dead To The World Mix

I don’t usually mix in this style or anywhere close to it, so this was a bit of a learning experience, but definitely a lot of fun and I really enjoyed the process. My main goals were trying to stick to the original performance and somehow making it sound huge and modern without losing the soul of the original recordings and its live-ness if that makes sense. That’s why I opted for fairly static processing on the drums whilst using a lot of automation on the vocals especially. I really like how it turned out and I hope you do as well!
