I had a blast with this! Never mixed metal before but I grew up playing it in bands through the 90’s.

All original stems were used. No drum replacement samples or VST instruments.

Put in some effects to honor the 90’s metal scene at the time of the recording. :)

Damn dude – for never mixing metal before you nailed that snare and kick hard. Loving the clangy bass distortion. Globally it’s a bit squashed but overall pretty sick.

Hey thanks for the encouragement! I appreciate it. I was surprised how little I knew about metal production since I had played it a lot in my younger days. I totally overcooked it in my mastering chain trying to get more headroom out of it. Live and learn I guess.

Thanks! That comment put a smile on my face for sure! I wish I was into recording back then. It was all so expensive and hard to do without computers.

I loved all those compilations from Nuclear Blast, Road Runner, Metal Blade ect!!
