    I got notified about this contest kind of late but I’m here for it!
    This was a great song to mix and listen to.
    James is truly a great singer, very consistent and in control over his own voice (which was also mentioned by everyone who’ve heared my mix); the recordings were done very well and cleverly by Joe; Scott Williamson on drums blew my mind, and all the other great players really put themselves out there with some creative ideas.

    Mix is good however I think the snare drum fills too much space in the mix at times. While it sounds good, it seems a touch out of place.

    Like how the lead vocal sits in front. If I had to say one thing, it would be that it seems a little less exciting and less open than other mixes, but that’s just my preference. Good luck!

    Replying to bernie: I’m not sure what you mean, assuming you’re talking about compresion I just think it’s part of the genre’s style, but as you said it’s also a matter of preference, at the end the results will depend on what the guys above us think so you never know…

    @omeralexmusic It’s defiantly a matter of preference! Please don’t take it in any other way! I would actually prefer your version to some of the others depending on what mood im in. Your mix is more pleasant to listen to. Would love to hear what you think of mine. Good luck again!
