Hi to everyone,
here’s my acoustic-rock interpretation of this beautiful song.
It’s a complete bedroom-headphone recording and production…
Really apreciate if you’d share your thoughts.Have a good time and keep on making great music
ThomasA bit of a Massive Attack feel to this until the piano drop came in. Nice lead guitar though!
Thank you for your feedback. Yeah, dynamics have been tricky with this material. I have no clue of mastering but I tried anyways, maybe there is a bit to much compression overall, but hey.. =)
Diggin that bassline!
Great sounds.
Hello! Delion! I really liked how you resolve the outro with a guitar riff. On the other hand, is it possible that I have heard a glockenspiel in outro? I love this instrument.
Thanks so much for the comment. Playing the Bass was fun because of the simple and repetitive Harmonies (Didn’t want to change there a lot because of this beautiful played and recorded guitars).
Thank you. Yes indeed it’s a real soprano-glockenspiel in the intro, some fills and the last two choruses. I used very old mallets to prevent harshness, otherwise this instrument would annoy very soon hehe.
Now that’s a groovy bass line!!
Nice solo as well😊
Great version! Love the bells in the intro.
Ok Thomas, the intro into the last chorus is KILLER. Love the creativity. Great job, man!
Yeah totally agree with the bass line comments, pretty killer man. I really like what you did to break it down to the 2nd verse with that piano and then using her vocal to go back into the verse. Nice one!
