Malamor – Dead To The World 2022 Contest

The goal of this mix was to keep the sound and feel of the original tracks while delivering a more modern take. What I find is that a lot of death metal mixes tend to feel highly compressed and bright which is part of the sound but I tried to retain some of the warmth from the mids and some of the breath and space in the song. I’m very happy with how it turned out and it was tons of fun mixing it!
