    I had a lot of fun mixing this, and scrapped and restarted more times than I’d like to admit. Watching Warren’s mix video last week was a game changer. I was originally trying to make it closer to the original mix, but that was harsh and brittle. I relied too heavily on the kick triggers and loud cymbals. His video really helped me ease back, not be afraid of some natural low end on the guitars and not overcook everything. Except the bass, I fried the shit out of that.

    I hope you enjoy and I appreciate ANY comments or feedback! I love hearing everyone’s take on mixing this track!

    LOL I fried the shit out of the bass too. Put a Darkglass on that mf it needed some serious work. So glad we got the DI.

    Sounds rad dude, I can’t really tell if you resampled the drums but if you did nice work. They sound natural but good.

    I did not resample any drums, except a slightly blended in snare oneshot but it’s really only mixed in for the half time beats. Otherwise, just used the tracks provided! Thanks for listening.
