It was awesome to get my hands on some old school death metal multis like these, not offen you get something like this recorded well on tape from a high end studio to mess around with! I tried to just freshen up what was there rather than completely alter the vibe of the tracks or make things sound too modern. The guitars have alot of snarl added to them with some rather aggressive eq, but aside from the usual housekeeping that comes with mixing tracks nothing major was added!

Great mix! I love what You did with bass.
Maybe I would leave more low mids on rythm guitars!
    Keep up the good work!

    Thanks Marcin!

The bass was the DI track ran through CLA Bass as Kohle does, then into Plugin Alliance SVT Classic for the basic tone. After that it’s some sidechain multi band compression from the kick and L1 to lock everything in and eq to taste!

I wanted that Swedish chainsaw tone with the guitars but still wanted to keep the chugs controlled, I think I may have gotten carried away with Waves C4, but overall I’m pleased with how everything fit together and how balanced it came out, speaks to the quality of the sources!
